Arabic & Quran Classes for Adults

Islam 100 Classes

These Classes are for Adults only and both genders. Check out http://www.mccschool.org for kids

  • Following Levels should fit to all kind of beginner and intermediate Level students
  • Doing your homework and 11 weeks of commitment are a must. 11th week is the final exam's week.
  • There are no fees involved except payments for books but you must complete your homework every week and you must attend all classes (minus emergencies, sickness). You should inform at email/sms/phone numbers shared with you on first day of classes if you need to miss a class
  • All of these classes take place at Masjid ar Rahman (MCC) in bloomington.

  • Most of the classes are two and half hours long. This includes reading/speaking practice time, where applicable. Prayer times are seperate
  • Make up days & Days off: There are no days off in this term. If you must miss first day of class or any classes in rest of term due to urgencies, you should inform ahead of time (as much as possible) to arrange for a make up class. Make up classes will be offered if you miss your class due to attending al-Maghrib or similar seminars in twin cities
  • If class of your interest fills up early (and link is deactive below), please add your name to the waiting list here. you will be contacted if spots open up (even within first 2 weeks of new term otherwise you will be informed for next term's registration (starting March 2012)
  • All classes are divided among Br Abdalla Orabi, Br Omar, Sr Hamdi, Br Ahmed, Sr Sadaf, Br Mashood & Sr Fida.
  • Quran reading class is offered by Sr Sadaf Shaheen and Sr Hamdi Karie

  • Last day of classes: Final Exams will be held on End of March 2012.
  • All of your teachers promise to try their best to help, however we are all volunteers and have our deficiencies here and there. We humbly request your forgiveness

    Shariah Academy of America (SAA), Islamic University of MN (IUMN) & Al Bayyinah offer very good Arabic Language & Quran Recitation classes. Please check them out too.

    • These Classes are for Adults only and both genders. Teenagers and borm muslim who are restarting on islam, are welcome too

  • Class is 2 hour long, every sunday 1 pm - 3 PM (or extended as notified priorly). They run for 7 weeks

  • First hour is for education and 2nd hour is open forum for any kind of questions long. These hours also include any demos and practice time, when applicable, and unless notified otherwise.
  • First hour of this class is purely education and information. It restarts for new batch of students. 2nd hour is open for everyone (all new and old students and general public)
  • Class will have to break for 10 minutes if Muslim Prayer falls during the class time so that instructors can pray.
  • Doing your homework and 7 weeks of commitment are must.

    1 - Arabic Level 1 - Introduction

    2 - Arabic Level 2

    3 - Arabic Level 3 + reading class, Quran 1 + Quran reading Class

    Instructor: Brother Farrukh Haider & teachers for reading class (Br Omar, Sr Hamdi, Br Abdallah, Sr Sadaf)
    		 Every Sunday, 11 AM - 2 PM (Starting Sunday January 8th)

    4 - Arabic Level 4 + reading/paragraphs classes for this Level along with Quran 2

    6 - Arabic Level 6/Level 7 + reading class, Quran 3 + Quran reading Class

    7 - Arabic Level 8/Level 9 + reading/dialogue classes for this Level along with Quran 3

    8 - Advanced Arabic & Quran classes are for advanced students only and they do not need to register. Class is taught by teachers for reading classes (all of them listed above). Students are tested before being put into these classes
